Universal of Crown Treasurer Marek Matczyński on collecting Jewish poll tax in towns subordinated to the Włodzimierz kahal
Grand Crown Treasurer Marek Matczyński orders military deputies going to the Jews of Włodzimierz Wołyński to collect the Jewish poll tax to collect only the right amount from the Włodzimierz community based on the regulation passed by Volhyn land elders in the local kahal and only after receiving the assignations based on the tariff created by Włodzimierz kahal elders with the countersignature of the local rabbi. He orders them to collect money from other towns subordinated to the Włodzimierz kahal. The treasurer forbids the deputies to execute the entire tax amount from the Włodzimierz Jews and to overcharge them with lodging fees and provisions for people and horses.
